Change Makers of the World – My Vision, My Journey

Change Makers of the World (CMW) was founded on a simple yet powerful belief: every person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and shape their future—no matter where they come from or what challenges they face. What began as a vision has now become a global movement, uniting people from all walks of life to champion education, human rights, and youth empowerment. From classrooms to advocacy platforms, CMW works to create meaningful change by breaking down barriers and amplifying the voices of those too often left unheard.

A Mission Rooted in Action

CMW stands for more than just ideas—it stands for action. The organization has been at the forefront of efforts to:
  • Expand Access to Education – Ensuring that learning is not a privilege but a right for every child, especially those in marginalized
  • Advocate for Human Rights – Raising awareness and pushing for policies that protect and uplift those facing systemic oppression.
  • Empower Young Leaders – Providing the resources, mentorship, and platforms for youth to take charge of their futures.
  • Foster Global Solidarity – Building connections across borders to create a united force for positive change.

A Legacy of Impact

CMW has worked with grassroots communities, international organizations, and global change makers to push forward a shared vision of progress. From launching education initiatives to representing youth on international platforms, the organization has made a tangible impact—always driven by a belief in the power of individuals to create change.

More Than an Organization, a Movement

Change Makers of the World is not just an initiative; it is a movement—a growing network of people committed to building a world where opportunity is not limited by geography, gender, or circumstance. It is a call to action for anyone who believes that real change starts with those who dare to act. The work continues, and the mission remains the same: to create a world where every individual has the chance to reach their full potential.

A Personal Note from Reza Hussaini

Change Makers of the World is more than an organization—it’s a mission born from my own journey. I know what it’s like to be silenced, to fight for an education, and to rebuild after losing everything. I created CMW for those who are told they can’t—for the girls in Afghanistan who refuse to stop learning, for refugees starting over, and for young leaders demanding change. This isn’t just my work—it’s my life. And I invite you to be part of it.

Fighting for Afghan Girls’ Education

Change Makers of the World continues to provide online and secret in-person classes for Afghan girls. On February 1, 2025, Reza Hussaini met with students to hear their challenges and share future opportunities.

The Taliban have banned Afghan girls from schools and universities, completely blocking their access to formal education. Girls are not allowed to attend school, and universities are officially closed to them. This is not just a challenge—it is a humanitarian catastrophe. But while the Taliban say no, Change Makers of the World and our dedicated volunteer team are saying yes. We are working tirelessly to provide education through online and secret in-person classes across Afghanistan.

On February 1, 2025, we held an online meeting with students from our programs in Afghanistan. Reza Hussaini, one of our founders, joined from the United States to speak with the students. He listened to their stories of resilience, heard about the struggles they face—including constant fear, financial struggles, and internet access issues—and offered motivation and support. He also presented future plans and opportunities that we are working on to further expand our programs.

Over the past months, we have been running language courses (English, Italian, German, etc.), academic subjects (math, physics, chemistry, etc.), and empowerment workshops to help girls secure scholarships and plan their futures. During the meeting, students shared their aspirations and the impact these classes have had on their lives.

One of our most important initiatives is the Afghan Girl Coders project, which trains Afghan girls in coding and computer science for six months. This program is designed to last at least a year and a half, giving students a chance to gain valuable skills that the Taliban want to deny them. The goal of this program is to prepare Afghan girls for independence by helping them enter the job market, particularly in online and remote work. Given the restrictions imposed on them, we are focusing on creating opportunities where they can work from home using their skills in computer science, programming, and technology.

In addition to technical education, we are also running empowerment programs that help students build confidence, manage stress, and develop leadership skills. This combination of technical training and personal development ensures that they are not only skilled but also prepared to navigate their futures with resilience and determination. Dozens of Afghan girls are currently enrolled in this program, and we are actively working to expand it to reach even more students in the future.

To expand opportunities, we are working on potential collaborations with Coursera, Google, and other organizations to provide more resources. We have submitted proposals and are actively reaching out to these platforms to establish partnerships that can help Afghan girls gain better access to education and career opportunities. These plans were part of the discussions during the meeting, reinforcing our commitment to broadening access to education.

Due to security concerns, we cannot always share reports or images, but our work continues every single day. Change Makers of the World is committed to ensuring that Afghan girls receive an education, no matter what obstacles are put in their way.

Education is a right, and we will not stop until every Afghan girl has the opportunity to learn and build a better future.

International Peace Day; Educate for Change

On Sep. 21, 2020, Mr. Hussaini and CMW celebrated International Peace Day with orphans and child laborers in Kabul, promoting education. The program included interactive activities, and 100 stationery kits were distributed to support their learning.

The event aimed to highlight the importance of education as a tool for peace and empowerment, encouraging children to pursue their studies despite challenges. Through storytelling, games, and group discussions, the children engaged in meaningful conversations about their dreams and the role of education in shaping a better future. Local educators and community leaders also participated, reinforcing the message of hope and resilience.

In addition to providing school supplies, the initiative sought to create a sense of belonging and motivation among the children, many of whom face economic hardships and limited access to formal education. Volunteers organized fun yet educational activities that emphasized teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The children were given opportunities to express their aspirations through art and storytelling, fostering confidence and self-expression.

Mr. Hussaini addressed the gathering, emphasizing the power of education in breaking cycles of poverty and conflict. He encouraged the children to stay committed to learning and assured them that they were not alone in their journey. The event concluded with a collective pledge to support children's right to education, symbolizing a step towards a more inclusive and peaceful society.
