International Orphan Care (IOC)

nternational Orphan Care (IOC) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-sectarian humanitarian organization dedicated to transforming the lives of Afghan orphans. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Laguna Hills, California, IOC’s mission is to provide these vulnerable children with HOPE: Help Orphans be Productive and Educated.

Our Mission and Vision

IOC strives to create a nurturing, family-like environment where the pain and anguish of Afghanistan’s orphans are replaced with comfort and self-reliance. By focusing on education and vocational training, we aim to empower these children to become productive members of society, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty and despair.
